First Lady visited Yalve Sanga

On June 6th, the First Lady, Gloria Penayo de Duarte, visited Yalve Sanga. She was accompanied by the minister of the technical planning secretary’s office, her staff, representatives of REPADEH (her organization) and by representatives of the despatch office of the First Lady.  The purpose of her visit was to officially present some gifts. The donation consisted of a mobile clinic and a pick-up truck with a complete water filtering system.  A kitchen and bakery equipment were given to the Nivaclé Community. The ASCIM had already received an ambulance from the REPADEH in the past.

After the tour and a luncheon, the First Lady expressed the wish to see the museum, hospital, senior citizens and personal care home in Filadelfia. She was impressed with the good facilities and their cleanliness.
